It is early in the morning of the third day
and the tomb is empty.
The huge stone has been rolled up and away out of its groove in the ground.
The Roman seal has been broken.
The guard (consisting of 15-30 men) felt the earthquake and saw the angel.
They "became as dead men" Matthew 28:4
Inside, the tomb is empty.
All that remains is the burial cloth.
The two Mary's have come to anoint the body. Mark 24:1
The angel tells the women "He is not here, but is risen!" Luke 24:6
As they run to tell the disciples Jesus appears to them
and He says
"Rejoice....go and tell."
