What Choice Do You Have?

Actually, you do have a choice.

You have a choice to live in turmoil or to live in peace.
Jesus gave us peace.

John 14:27
Peace I leave with you,
My peace I give to you;
not as the world gives do I give to you.
Let not you heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid.

We already have this peace inside of us. Jesus gave it to us.
But He also told us to use it.
To remain in peace.

Peace is a choice just like it is a choice to worry or be angry.

Colossians 3:15
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts....

There will be many situations  to put peace to the test.
It is how we choose to act in those situations on whether we keep our peace.

Philippians 4:7
And the peace of God
which surpasses all understanding,
will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Keep the Peace!

God knows your heart!

Psalm 146:1-2  Praise the Lord!  Praise the Lord, O my soul!
(2)- While I live I will praise the Lord;  I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.

Our daily pursuits may provide moments of joy, fun, pleasure or love, but the cry of our hearts goes unheard to those around us.  It is only when we give ourselves over to God that we find total peace, joy and contentment. God hears us and knows our hearts. His happiness is an everlasting one! Spend time with Him, pursue a relationship. Talk to Him about your needs. God already knows but He wants a deep, personal relationship with you.

Psalm 139:1-3 O Lord, You have searched me and known me.
(2) You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off.
(3) You comprehend my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways.

Proverbs 3:5-6  Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding
(6) In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.

Psalm 23

Psalms 23:1-6 (AMP)
1 A Psalm of David. THE LORD is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack.

The LORD is my Shepherd.
Since the LORD is my Shepherd, I do not live in lack. He completely fulfills my every need.

2 He makes me lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters.

Since the LORD is my Shepherd, I can rest in the meadow grass, and I can enjoy His leading and safety through the calm streams.

3 He refreshes and restores my life (my self); He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him—not for my earning it, but] for His name’s sake.
Since the LORD is my Shepherd, my strength is renewed to be able to walk where he leads me!  His way is good, and my walk honors Him.

4 Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me.
Since the LORD is my shepherd.  I can even walk through the shadows of my life, and I need not be afraid, even of death,  He is ever beside me, close to me, prodding me and guiding me through every turn.

5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my [brimming] cup runs over.

Since the LORD is my Shepherd. I need not grow hungry.  He provides delicious, continual, and nutritious food for me.  He guards me and my banquet even while enemies watch closely to destroy me.  His blessings are overflowing and more than I can receive.

6 Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place.
Without any doubt His constant goodness and continual mercy are with me, not just now but through all   all my life.  I live every day in His presence and will live forever in His Home!

He is alive!

Jesus is the living water!

Philippians 2:7
He gave up His place with God and made Himself nothing.
He was born to be a Man and become like
a servant.

John 7:38
He who believes in me, as the scripture says,
out of his heart will flow living waters.

There is nothing stronger than the love
that Jesus has for us.
He came and was born a man but was fully God.
Jesus lived a mortal life and knows our pain, joy, disappointments,
and our deepest feelings.
